Obviously I will await expert diagnosis, but what stands out for me is this:

Within 2 minutes of lying down and putting mask on, I had my one and only aponea @ 12.47.33 (for 10secs), before the machine saves me...

...and did this all through the hours of my sleep and rest.

Oxygen levels are sound, 

1. right though the nap, 
   
2. the 2 sleep periods, each interrupted by the need to pee; and 
   
3. resting without sleeping [after spending an hour and half out of bed and working on this project (1.15am - 2.35am)].
   

The resting without sleeping is recorded from 2.34.59 to 3.46.09.

In future, as has been my habit for the past number of years, I will not again go to the computer until the day dawns; I've had my morning stroll (and hopefully next summer, a morning swim), and had breakfast, coffee and a social feed of gossip with surf club mates, locally known as the Mooloolaba Beach Bums!!!.

In all, improvement day by day, that is obvious.
