Contec Pulse Oximeter - CMS50FW or CMS50IW?
Does anyone know what, if any different there are between the CMS50FW & CMS50IW pulse oximeters, if any at all? The websites being written by people with English as a second language make it rather difficult to understand what, if any, is different between the two of them.
Any insight is appreciated.

I think the CMS50iW records the perfusion index (in addition to pulse and SpO2), which is a measure of the quantity of blood flow. I think if the perfusion is less than about 0.5 or 1.0 then the SpO2 data will be less reliable, so the perfusion data can be used as a sanity check concerning when the SpO2 data is unreliable.
