I found what I think is the thread I was looking for. I've tried this and it really does work very well thanks to trish6hundred.

DIY chin strap idea
After doing a google search for alternative ideas for a chin strap, I found an older thread from November 2014 by trish6hundred on this board. Now when I want to bring that thread back to life, I'm unable to find it doing a "search" here. Is it possible to find it because I thought the idea for the chin strap was really good.

RE: DIY chin strap idea
Hi GrammaBear,
I’m glad that the chinstrap idea works well for you. I know there is a bump2, (I don’t know what that picture is,) icon in the list of emoticons, but I’m not sure how to work those. Anyway, I think that bump2 moves the thread up to the top of the list of posts.

RE: DIY chin strap idea
For whatever reason I have yet to figure out, I went from having 5-10 leaks per night to over 30. And of course when I downloaded Sleepyhead data to my PC, I got the horrible face that said my mask was leaking TOO much. I purchased several chin straps which were all but useless in my opinion. Trish - your homemade strap idea works far better than the fancy ones. It is nice to wake up without a dry mouth and to start feeling better once again.

All you have to do is make a post to that thread (even just the word "Bump") and it will go to the top of the list.
I just bumped it for you.

Hi DeepBreathing,
Thank you so much. That’s easy enough, I’ll keep that in mind if I should ever need to bump a thread.
