Data download?

Does OSCAR provide a way for me to download data to a file with the daily values of AHI and maybe other variables? Or is there another approach?


I'm a medical epidemiologist and fairly successful CPAP user. I hope is to assemble a log with these CPAP data to look for correlations with other information, such as dates of medication changes.

The graphical displays for daily data look great, but I need the underlying numbers, preferably without manually transcribing them from the display day by day.

How about using the CSV export and use a spreadsheet program. File → Export Data → CSV Export Wizard.

CSV data can be easily imported to a "real" database (like mariadb, mysql, Oracle Database,...) if you need this king of process.

It is my desire to make OSCAR more useful for those in the medical profession.
Please be as specific as possible in what your needs are.

The only suggestion I would offer might be to create a quick FAQ or Help system entry on this topic. "Display underlying daily" or "Exporting Details for Spreadsheet or other Analysis" or something like that. 

It's obvious how to do it once one gets oriented, but at the beginning, lots of people are probably like me, just bewildered, unsure what functions are available, and seeing how to navigate.

Or if the File, Export approach is already described somewhere, maybe we can improve visibility with cross-references. 

By the way, my thread subscription choice is to receive emails about new replies, but I didn't see any of these responses until I logged in here. My spam and trash folders (Gmail) also had nothing from the Apnea Board and nothing with "csv."

Scroll down to the bottom of this thread to check if you are still subscribed.  That shouldn't have changed for any reason, but just in case.

Also, check the box that says "Instant email notification"

If that still doesn't work, let us know.

I wish I could have indented that extended copy/paste, but I don't see that format option.

Anyway, the last part explains why I wasn't seeing the earlier responses. So the system has an incentive for us to log in and participate. That's a Good Thing, although again, it wasn't obvious to this novice.
