It's still not writing the data for the days missed, but I'm unsure as to whether the machine has X days in memory and should write them to the SD card, or whether I've lost that data permanently, and need to wait until tomorrow to see if it's working again.

I've checked space on the SD Card (only using 126Mb of 16Gb), have checked that Essentials is set to Plus, and have powered the machine off and on.

It won't have any detailed data but should provide summary data for those days. You might try another card. SD cards are known to can go bad in a heartbeat.

If your using Windows right click one of the empty folders and check properties. Look under Attributes and see if the Hidden box is checked.
