[Diagnosis] Confirming OA or CA using Airflow and Snore(effort)

Confirming OA or CA using Airflow and Snore(effort)
Hi,

Is it possible to  differentiate CA and OA events in OSCAR just by looking at Airflow. Can I assume that the Snore graph in a way confirms effort  and thus confirms OA ?

I understand that no Airflow with no effort confirms CA, My question is, does  ResMed Airsense 10 recognize snore by sound (microphone)  or by pressure differences  ? Would it be right to correlate snore with effort ?

RE: Confirming OA or CA using Airflow and Snore(effort)
i wondered the same thing when i got the machine, do i now have a microphone 24/7 recording everything in my house ?!

Here's one answer. Apparently it's a pressure sensor, but a microphone is also a pressure sensor that detects vibrations so i'm still not sure!

Thanks Narcil for your observations and comments about the microphone.
