[Diagnosis] Understanding O2 ring results

Understanding O2 ring results
Hi first time poster.

I did a sleep study 12 months ago and it came back with a satisfactory amount of sp02 and an AHI of 6.4. I had 24 CSA events and a single OSA event with no treatment being suggested.

My symptoms have persisted here and there and I'm deciding whether to a pick up an Airsense 10 Autoset to see if I can treat my symptoms. I decided to get the latest Apple watch along with the Wellue 02 ring.

I am having trouble understanding my Wellue 02 results as it seems my spo2 levels are fine and this correlates to the sleep data from my Apple watch but my symptoms persist. I am awaiting another at home sleep study.

If I am understanding the results I have attached it seems that my sp02 levels are somewhat normal? I understand to not treat this device as a medical diagnosis. This result is also what I get most nights.

Thanks.

RE: Understanding O2 ring results
New to the O2Ring2 myself.

My SP02 numbers ave 95%, but I have lows of 90. The threshold in the O2Ring setting is 88% (when the ring will vibrate). My SP02 drops were like 96 last night, much higher than yours. Your O2 score of 9.9 is much better than my 8.0 from last night. Guessing this is a very positive report for you.

I do notice your Motions frequency and intensity are much higher than mine, but I'm guessing this is only valuable to possibly explain large SP02 drops as you flop around and maybe dislodge your ring, affecting measurement accuracy.

I'll need many more night's to see if there are any trends.

Have attempted to add this data to your Oscar charts? I finally figured this out. I have a high number of CA events on many nights. I want to see what affect these >30 sec events have on my SP02 levels.

If you had all but 1 events were centrals the Resmed 10 autoset will not do much good.  It does not treat centrals.  The more expensive one does treat centrals but it about double the cost... The correct machine would be a resmed aircurve ASV.

We have had some success using a ResMed Aircurve Vauto but it is not the machine of choice.  Please check with others on this board about the ASV.  I have a Vauto so I have not experience with with the ASV..
