RE: Dial winging? / diy approach
Why can’t do as advised. Min 7. Max 15 EPR 2. Ramp off.

RE: Dial winging? / diy approach
The Elite is a single pressure CPAP with EPR. So there's no Auto range for the OP.

Welcome.
The S9 clinical menu access is similar to the 10S. Push/click setup and dial together 5 seconds to enter.

RE: Dial winging? / diy approach
The most helpful suggestion I can make is to update your CPAP to a 10 or 11 series Autoset. The S9 is old, obsolete and affords no detailed user data and has limited therapy options. Even on the used market, it is worth upgrading this old device. If you have a diagnosis for obstructive sleep apnea and insurance, your device is long overdue for replacement.
If you are unable to replace it, then my recommendation for settings is CPAP pressure at 10 cm with EPR on, full-time setting 3.

RE: Dial winging? / diy approach
yeah i know this device is super old, but i only will get insurance coverage on a new device after i have gone through the clinical pipeline, Ive got for a sleep test and then have to wait for a follow up appointment, a possible second sleep test with the use of a cpap, waiting for follow up and ten i can reach out to a cpap supplier and set a appointment etc etc so i def plan to purchase the newest available to me using coverage but until that's possible i gotta make due with what i got. Ive got it all set up for tonight and i will post the OSCAR results tomorrow morning to see if there's anything to change.
one question how do you share Oscar results on here? is there a file i download or just screenshots etc. thanks

RE: Dial winging? / diy approach
You use screenshots of your Daily screen. This is accomplished by using the F12 key (Fn+F12 for a Mac). See the links in my signature for a more detailed set of instructions. The OSCAR graphs are in order of importance by default.

RE: Dial winging? / diy approach
alright heres the results of last nights first try at cpap. i woke up at 530am to find that my mask was off my face and on the floor despite me tightening the straps to a snug fit, i move around when i sleep alot aot so its no surprise. I basically know what the readings mean to a degree but don't know what levels are considered good or normal. if anyone would like to interpret my data and or provide a change in settings as last nights settings were set randomly i would be very appreciative, everyone here has been so helpful! <3

RE: Dial winging? / diy approach
Huge clusters of obstructive events, and the most likely cause is "positional apnea" https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph...onal_Apnea Resolve the cause of chin-tucking that obstructs your airway (tall, firm pillows, sleeping in fetal position with head tucked etc) and the clusters will give way to clear good sleep. Some people need to use a soft cervical collar to get there https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph...cal_Collar and others can just make changes to their sleeping arrangement.
I'm pretty sure you are sleeping inclined or on multiple pillows. That needs to be changed to raise your chin and avoid this obstruction. Also, take the pressure to 10 and increase EPR to 3.

RE: Dial winging? / diy approach
Yep. Fixing the Positional Apnea and this may get you a decently low AHI. But I'll also agree with Sleeprider about getting the new generation of AutoSet as soon as you can. Meanwhile you get to figure out what to expect.
The AutoSet would be more flexible with a pressure range.
