Dial winging? / diy approach

RE: Dial winging? / diy approach
This attempt at correcting sleep apnea is useless. I would just wait until I could have a proper diagnosis and acquire a current apap. Your health is treated differently than trying to repair a old lawn mower. After all , what will a little more time hurt.

I don’t think it’s useless at all, at the bare minimum I’m getting used to sleeping with a mask on my face, and developing a habit of filling my humidifiers water tank every night. But realistically I believe with the soft cervical collar and the “old” cpap I can get a slight improvement. I’ve already explained that I cannot speed up the process to get my diagnosis and therefore coverage on a new machine so I have to make do with what I got. I am willing to try because I’m not going to continue pissing the bed every night from a complete lack of oxygen. If my breathing or sleep improves 5% I’ll be happy. I appreciate all who have replied and helped me.

I’ve ordered the cervical collar but it won’t be here today. So tonight it’s back to cpap with the new adjustments.

Lots of people still use the S9; not useless at all.

Ok , maybe it’s kinda useless, I will watch this thread and we will see. I really hope the op is successful, but with my experience even with an apap , it’s challenging and you really need the best in your corner to win.

alright night 2 was interesting. apparently the mask fell off after 2 and a half hours of sleep so that's the only data but for those 2 and half hours the data looks much better (maybe coincidence) but i did change to sleeping on my side with 1 pillow instead of my usual 2. anyways the screenshot is there  and ill toss up the one from yesterday to compare the first 2 hours of sleep haha, neck brace has arrived and i will be wearing that tonight.

day 1 screen shot is zoomed in to show the first 2 hours of sleep to compare between last night. the events graph wont zoom in the same way these do but the highlighted portion is the bit we are looking at.

The high flow limits before 0305 indicate higher pressure needed, as that's the only thing that helps with the static unit like this.

Just note it adds to the benefit of an AutoSet.
Mask Primer

Positional Apnea

Attach OSCAR, etc.
