"Try to settle a bit before masking up and starting therapy."
VERY good to know, I had no idea, many thanks!

I will try the suggested settings.  I'm trying a new mask tonight and will post some results tmrw (06/07/2025).

Not a direct answer but may help:

Treatment-Emergent Central Apnea occurs when a person that has no to minimal Central Apnea starts using a CPAP/APAP/BiLevel device and sees a marked increase in Central Apnea.

This is a small part of information from this forms Wiki. It is well worth reading the full information as a new user.

I only found this after many years of CPAP. I was looking for information to help a new user.

Please do not wait as long as I did to educate yourself with what this form can do for you.
