Does/can CPAP alleviate pain
I am not posting under my therapy thread as I think my question would get read by a few folks and it’s outside my typical therapy questions.
I’ve struggled with awakening in pain in the mornings for some time. In a nutshell I ache all over and in such instances I’m very groggy too.
I’ve been adapting to cpap about a month now and things seem to be improving slowly dad by day. I’ve noticed when I wake up with my mask still on blowing air up my schnoz I’m not in pain and I’m clear headed. Case in point I awoke this morning about 6 and my F30 mask was leaking ever which way no matter how I tweaked it so I took it off figuring 8 hrs use was pretty good. I fell back to sleep and awoke again at 730. I literally hurt all over. Felt like I was coming out of anesthesia I was so groggy.
I’m just curious if others here have experienced similar pain relief after/with starting cpap? I’d be interested in learning how that’s possible from a physiological standpoint if any of you know.
Thanks
Pokey
