DreamStation mask settings for ResMed masks

DreamStation mask settings for ResMed masks
I have used the DreamStation machine and ResMed F20 mask for about a year. My AHI results are not exciting (Average AHI 3.57), but OK,  and I am comfortable with F20 except for one thing: it's hot sleeping with a full face mask on. Therefore I decided to try a new mask F40. Even though F40 is an FFM, the machine should be set to Nasal pillow mode for the mask type. However, I couldn't find the mask setting I should use on the Dreamstation. The provider recommended trying X1 - I tried and the results were terrible. One night I tried mode X2, which I use for my F20, but still, AHI was 5.2. Can anyone help with this question? From my searches, I understand that the answer might depend on the size of the cushion - my cushion is M.

RE: DreamStation mask settings for ResMed masks
The mask setting for any non Phillips masks should be turned to off per Phillips recommendations.
