Dreamstation 2 Question
Will Oscar read the data from my Dreamstation 2 machine and if not, is there another program that will?

Thanks,
Mark

RE: Dreamstation 2 Question
It will, and it does. At least here on a Macbook Pro.

Just make sure you've got an appropriate SD card.

RE: Dreamstation 2 Question
When I go into Oscar to open the profile for my Dreamstation 2 it tells me that "Machine Unsupported. Sorry your Philips Respironics CPAP machine (Dreamstation 2) is not supported yet. The developers need a .zip copy of this machine's SD card and matching Encore or Orchestrator .pdf reports to make it work with Oscar." Oscar shows I am running the latest update which is 1.3.0+ee0520b2. Since I have switched to the Dreamstation 2, my AHI's have gone way up and I am starting to feel it. I can't tell what the problem is until I can get Oscar to read the card.

Thanks,
Mark

RE: Dreamstation 2 Question
On the official webpage (https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/), the last production version is 1.4.0.
You have to upgrade to this version.
In the web page, in the Changes and fixes in OSCAR v1.4.0 paragraph, it says :

[new] Support for Philips Respironics DreamStation 2:
DreamStation 2 CPAP (410X150C)
DreamStation 2 Advanced CPAP (420X150C)
DreamStation 2 Auto CPAP Advanced (520X110C, 520X130C, 520X150C)
DreamStation 2 Auto CPAP Advanced with P-Flex (521X120C, 521X140C)

So, it's logical what version 1.3.0 does not support DreamStation 2

I think that the next version (1.5.0) will come at the end of August or begin of September.

RE: Dreamstation 2 Question
Philips decided to encrypt the data on all the DS2s and presumably any future machine. OSVAR 1.4.0 is the only, to my knowledge, way to read this data unless you are in the medical field and subscribe to Philips new , "doctor only" software.
