OP - Imagine going to some bona-fide Chevy experts and inquiring about Ford. They could make some educated guesses, but it seems reasonable that they would be more familiar with the intricacies of Chevy than the intricacies of Ford. Not bad-mouthing the experts here, just pointing out something.

Or it could be viewed like contrasting cranberries and buffaloes. Different animals.

There is a bigger question. Which machine is more likely to give you the best therapy: the cheepie knockoff with a questionable name, or the gold standard? You decide.
