[Equipment] Resmed Airsense 10 Beeping Alarm

Resmed Airsense 10 Beeping Alarm
I purchased my barely-used second-hand Resmed "AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her" 14 months ago.  It has performed flawlessly since then.  Current used hours are around 4,500.  All reminder alerts are set to Off.

Two nights ago, I was jolted awake at midnight by a loud, fast beeping sound. I stopped the session - the sleep report showed that after one hour's sleep my AHI was 0.00, while mask leak, humidifier and water level were all fine.  Nothing I did with the unit's controls could shut off the alarm.  After about one minute, the alarm turned off by itself.  Five minutes later, the alarm sounded again for about 20 seconds.  I restarted my session and there were no further alarms that night.

Last night, an identical alarm sequence happened.  I suspect this is going to keep on occurring.

I searched the Forum and found a few other posts about similar issues with the Airsense 10 (see post "Alarm" dated 12-25-2023, for example), but no solution.  As other people have found, there is no advice in the manuals, and no error messages appear on the unit itself.

So ... here I am, hoping someone can point me in the right direction towards a solution.

Many thanks in advance.

Call ResMed customer service.

Did you unplug the machine, wait for awhile, then plug it back in? If that doesn't work I would try resetting the machine to the factory defaults, and then re-enter my pressure and other settings.

Hopefully you have the clinician's manual. If not you can submit a request to ApneaBoard to have it emailed it to you. It doesn't take for very long for SuperSleeper to respond to those requests. He's tireless.
