F20 Headgear Too Big?

I might be doing something wrong or perhaps this mask is just not a good fit, but I'm really surprised that the F20 standard headgear does not fit me well. I got a small size and it's definitely a better fit, but I still have the straps pretty cinched down. I'm a 6 foot tall 220lb adult male and I wear Large hats. I don't understand how the headgear is truly too big for me.

I use an F40 medium mask.  The small headgear is too small, and the standard headgear that comes with the medium cushion is way too big.  I guess some of us just don't fit the mold.  After trying several work arounds  unsuccessfully, I wound up shortening the straps on the standard head gear. It's an inconvenience, but works well enough.  If you can thread a needle, or know someone who can, it's not that hard.  Best to experiment on an old one, before tackling the one you are using.
