I've tried every combination of settings in the clinical menu. I've wasted hundreds on different styles of masks and doctor visits that offer no help.
Are there any 'next steps' left?

Failing CPAP after a year of daily wear
I've been on CPAP for well over a year and still can't wear it for more than a couple hours at most.

RE: Failing CPAP after a year of daily wear
Did you have a lot of CAs in your sleep study? If so, that's why your AHI is so high, and why your sleep is not good. Post a copy of your study here with personal information covered up. If you don't have a copy, ask your doctor's office for one. Under US law, they must provide it if you request it.
If your sleep study indicates a large percentage of CAs, you may need to obtain a different type of pap machine, possibly a ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto, or more likely, a ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV. If you need either of these, your insurance should cover the machine. On a lesser note, it would be good if you removed the calendar from your charts so that we can see more important things below that. Best wishes for achieving much better therapy and comfort! ![]()

RE: Failing CPAP after a year of daily wear
Thanks! I had an at-home sleep study so I didn't get much detail, but there were some central and mixed apneas.
I tried to use my insurance to get the CPAP. After 6 months of waiting and endless hours of arguing on the phone, I gave up and bought it out of pocket. I don't have the resources to battle the insurance company to get an ASV, and it costs thousands to buy out of pocket. What is the likelihood that it would actually help?

If you been on cpap and haven’t used it more than 2 hours a night in a year I would ask. Why so long before you quit.

RE: Failing CPAP after a year of daily wear
I was mistaken in saying you probably need an ASV. Although your CAs were prominent in your chart, they may not have been in your sleep study. Ask your doctor's office to provide you with a copy. This costs nothing, and will show us what you need.
I just realized that you posted only part of last night's sleep. Could you re-post last night's report, showing the full night? That would be helpful. On a brief search I just did, I found that Sleeplay (online seller) is offering the ResMed Aircurve 10 Vauto for $1816 or $75 per month with Affirm at 0% interest in a Memorial Day sale.

Thanks! I haven't seen the VAuto for so cheap before.
I've attached what I have from my sleep study. I think the previous attachment was basically the whole night as I pulled off the mask in my sleep after 40 minutes.

RE: Failing CPAP after a year of daily wear
I could be thinking wrong, but I don't think the percentage of CAs you have would qualify you for an ASV, not that it's likely to break your heart since it's a way more expensive machine.

What mask are you using? I am newer to PAP and started with an AirFit40 full face mask (FFM) and have used nothing else and like it a lot. I had to just push through the restless nights at first. My sister got used to it by letting herself fall asleep w/o the machine and an hour later (at pee time), she'd put it on and slept better that way.
