RE: First OSCAR Report - Leak Rate
I am attaching todays new OSCAR chart screenshot. This is only my second day using OSCAR and the Wellue O2ring, though I've been using a CPAP and then APAP machine for about 20 years now. The SpO2 which is not showing on the screenshot, shows no drops below 88 yesterday and none below 90 today.
So, i have 2 questions:
1) Is my Leak Rate too high?
2) If so, given that i have a beard, i'm narrowed down to using a nasal pillow mask (currently i use the resmed airfit p10), should i try other nasal pillow type masks, or would a chin strap help? I'd appreciate any input from others. Would presure changes help? (I am able to make my own changes on the Dreamstation 2 provider menu since i own it and am not using an insurance company for my CPAP.
