First time seeing my stats with Oscar

RE: First time seeing my stats with Oscar
Your results are excellent, and nice job on the charts. I think increasing minimum pressure from 8.0 to 8.5 will clean up some hypopnea, flow limits and snores.

RE: First time seeing my stats with Oscar
Jason,
Thanks, those are good looking charts.

Your numbers are excellent, but even looking back on your first post, the statistics show you have always suffered from Flow Limitations and RERAs, which can disrupt sleep.

You could try moving the minimum pressure up to 9cm. It may help with some of that.

You apnea seems to be well treated, and I’m pretty sure the weight loss has shown improvements in many aspects of your life. But as far as being able to go without Cpap, it’s not impossible, but not likely either.

The only sure way to gauge that is to submit to an overnight sleep test.

RE: First time seeing my stats with Oscar
I raised my Min pressure to 8.5 and the results look like they have improved a bit. Should I increase to 9cm or leave it as it is? Thanks for the help!

Before the experts come along to advise you, could you tell us whether the increase in pressure bothered you in any way?

RE: First time seeing my stats with Oscar
Increasing the pressure to 8.5 resulted in an AHI of 0.68, all of it hypopnea, and your pressure is nearly constant through the night. This is the least distruptive and effective way to optimize therapy. Excellent! One of the cleanest charts from a new user on a Philips Auto I have seen.
