Full face mask but dry mouth?

Full face mask but dry mouth?
I was using a p10 with mouth tape to stop my mouth breathing but it started becoming uncomfortable and I still found myself breathing through my mouth even with the tape. I decided to switch to a full face mask and went with the F40 but sometimes I wake up with my mouth a bit dry. I thought dry mouth would only happen without a full face mask when breathing through your mouth. Is there anything to be concerned about here? Is there anything I can do better? I attached screenshots of 3 nights since I started using the mask on Jan 13th.

RE: Full face mask but dry mouth?
I found out that breathing through the mouth 'full stop' causes dry mouth. It's happened with my F40. I also found that even some recommend the use of a chin strap/soft cervical collar (not tape) with a full face mask. With the chin strap or soft cervical collar you can still open your mouth if you really need to. It worked for me. But I switched to a P10 as I'm growing a beard. And the F40 does not get along with beards.

I'm a mouth breather. No way can I breathe thru my nose at night while sleeping. I get dry mouth and I just deal with it. I don't know of any tips or tricks to avoid it.

I had some issues with the type of chin straps that put far too much pressure on my chin/jaw to keep it closed. I switched to the knightsbridge and it works a treat. Even though it can be a bit of a faff to put on correctly.

Hi ttsoldier, The Knightsbridge Dual Band is designed to keep your mouth closed when your jaw is *relaxed*, and do so by applying a minimum amount of force, applied in the correct direction, so that it is comfortable but effective. With the Knightsbridge, or in fact also with any traditional neoprene chin strap, you will always be able to open your mouth if you try. (We are Supplier 37. Keyword searches are still likely to bring you to counterfeit product.)
