Getting help with Oscar readings

Getting help with Oscar readings
Hi,

How many days of Oscar charts do I need to be able to get some feedback from the group? I have been using an AirSense 10 with an F40 mask for the past week. I was diagnosed with mild apnea. My ahi has gotten down to around 1.0 or less per night. I am still just as exhausted. Thank you in advance.

RE: Getting help with Oscar readings
Post away sriteop.

Like you, My AHI dropped right away from a moderate 22 to 1-2. But my sleep was still bad. This is usually due to the time it takes our bodies to adapt to sleeping under positive air pressure. All this pressurized breathing while trying to sleep along with the pressure changes the machine makes. Can and often does create disrupted sleep.

Post those charts and a lot of good folks will be along shortly to help guide you to the best setting to keep the AHI's down and your sleep sound.
