Getting so so sleep these days..

Getting so so sleep these days..
Looking for help as I am waking up a bit drained lately. Switched to Pillow mask from nasal and seems better now as nasal was leaking more. Still want to know where I can do better. Appreciate!
Trying to stay away from chin straps and other addons if I can.
Thanks Again!

RE: Getting so so sleep these days..
I suggest you raise your starting pressure to 7.4.  You are set too low for most adults, and your pressure wants to go up a bit more.

We could better help you if you made some changes to your Oscar charts.  Use the F12 key to copy the chart (FN+F12 for Mac).

How long have you had the Philips Respironics machine? Is it 5 years old? If yes, tell your doctor you'd like to order a new machine.

I'm circling in on an aspect called replace the DreamStation with a better ResMed. You currently have an Auto CPAP, OK great, get the ResMed AirSense 10 or 11 AutoSet. You will near instantly have better therapy and comfort.

Dave is right. My husband and I have each used both brands and cannot believe how much better and more comfortable the ResMeds are!

My machine was already sent back due to the recall about 2 years ago. I have the refurbished. I can ask for an upgrade but I do not have high hopes that they will do it.

Hello,
Just a question. Am I right to assume that Nasal and pillow masks are best for overall side sleepers? And is there less chance of jaw dropping on your side as opposed to your back?

Thank You

Pillows masks have the least seal areas to fuss about. So yes they deflect less for side sleeping, meaning they're better suited. Nasal masks slightly less so because they may tend to slide and deflect a bit more.

Gravity isn't pulling your jaw down as in back sleeping, but it can still open.
