Grateful for any help
Hello, I've been trying to use my ResMed 11 Apap machine for about a month now--I'm hanging on by the skin of my teeth. I found this forum and started getting data through OSCAR. I'm hoping for some insight. I always wake up about 1-3 hours after I fall asleep. Always. Often I have swallowed so much air that I am in a ton of pain and I spend the next 2 hours working it out. And by then sleep has fled me. Some nights I just get the 1.5 hours of sleep and then have a terrible migraine the next day.

What is making me wake every night at roughly the same time? For the swallowing air I've tried not eating anything after 6:30 (acid reflux seems to make it worse), chin strap, nasal mask, different size F40. It doesn't seem like any of these made a big difference. Oddly, some nights I don't swallow air.

Thank you,
R.W.H.

I would make the following changes

Turn off the Ramp
set EPR to 3
Min 7
max 9

Give it a night and post again.
Apnea (80-100%) 10 seconds, Hypopnea (50-80%) 10 seconds, Flow Limits (0-50%) not timed  Cervical Collar - Dealing w DME - Chart Organizing

I think I figured it out. Did you mean the pressure setting with the 7 and 9? It looks like my epr was three. I turned off the ramp.

Thank you!
