Great progress on lowering my AHI’s, but still having trouble getting to sleep
Thanks to sleeprider and sarcasticDave 94 For their help on my struggles with my BiPAP machine
I adjusted my trigger sensitivity settings to very high, and it resolved my central apneas
I am now getting under four total AHI an hour every night once I am asleep.
But it is still taking me 90 minutes or more to get to sleep. Some of it is just adjusting to the machine and mask, etc. But I swear I’m still getting some of these Central apnea as I’m trying to fall asleep. I have worn a pulse oximeter on my finger and noticed that the first hour to two hours that I lay down to try to sleep I get oxygen drops so I assume those are the AHI’s
But once I’m asleep, my oxygen seems to be steady and above 90 the whole night
Anybody have any advice on how to reduce the time until I fall asleep??
Thank you all, this board has been very helpful. I think without the advice here I would’ve given up on the machine already lol
