Help Analyzing OSCAR
Good evening,

Diagnosed with moderate apnea. Use a Resmed Airsense 11 with airfit f20 full face mask. Been diligently using cpap evey night for the last 4 months but still do not feel refreshed. Is there any room for improvement?

Attached OSCAR reading from a few nights ago.

Thank you in advance.

My limited experience tells Me Your numbers look good ..
Sometimes it takes more time to adjust to APAP ..
You might try increasing Your minimun pressure to 8
to decrease Your machines response time ..
Maybe a little positional obstructive apnea at 04:45 ..
You could try a thinner pillow for that ..
Are Your day to day OSCAR charts all similar ??
If You can post 2 or 3 days in a row that can help show a trend ..
I'm sure someone with more experience will be along shortly
to help also ..

RE: Help Analyzing OSCAR
There are many potential reasons for continued symptoms. One more common reason is lingering respiratory effort that disrupts your sleep architecture. There are ways for measuring and identifying this clinically, but from home your options are limited and rely more on troubleshooting to see if such steps correct for symptoms. If you can tolerate higher pressures, they may be worth exploring, as well as bilevel, but that can come later. Not medical advice, etc.

Congratulations on an OSCAR chart that shows treatment is going well.  You may want to try raising Min. pressure to 8 and turning Ramp off to prevent pressure swings.
I only give suggestions from experience as a fellow CPAP user, not professional advice.  My suggestions are for consideration, they are not definitive instructions.

RE: Help Analyzing OSCAR
After that large breath around 11:30, you have some very gentle breathing for just over an hour, followed by erratic breathing from possibly REM sleep.
That is my goal, gentle breathing sessions broken up by REM sleep.
You have large breaths throughout the rest of the night, except for more gentle sessions around 3:30 and 5:30
Do you have any conditions that might affect your sleep?

Like others say, raise yours minimum to 8 cm.
