Hello, everyone.
This is my first post and I am in a total loss as a complete newbie so I kindly ask the long time members to step in and help.
Diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea on 02/18/2025. Home sleep study showed 57 apneasand 197 hypopneas lasting 20.7-135.7 seconds in duration for a total AHI of 41.7.
56 minutes were spent with oxygen saturation less orequa to 88%. My oxygen levels went down to 66% at least 2 times during the sleep test.
So I started using the Airsense 10 with a full face mask and a prescibed pressure of 5-20 for 2 months. Every night I was waking up every couple of hours due to excessive air pressure and that made me hate the machine.
So I decided to switch to a nasal mask and lowered the pressure to 5-13. Now I think I sleep better with AHis around 2.3 but I am not sure if my therapy is working well sinceI still feel tired and most of the days like a zombie and I need to take several naps during the day? For example, yesterday I fell asleep in the middle of a conversation and that scared me.
I am attaching 2 files from two different dates, before and after I lowered the pressure.
Can someone look at my data and tell me if I need to change anything?

RE: Help with data. A total newbie.
Welcome to the forum, Are you on any medications that affect your breathing or sleep? Do you have any health issues that affect your breathing or sleep? Can you post a copy of your sleep report with your personal info redacted.
We need to see full list of the device settings. Your minimum pressure is too low for an adult, set it to at least 8 cm. Set ramp pressure to 7 cm for 5-10 minutes Set EPR to 2 for a few nights Post a few more charts with the newer low pressures.
You have leaks that are compromising your therapy, looks like mouth leaks. Consider using 2x5 strips of Regular Kinesiology Tape is made of 95% cotton and 5% spandex, and a somnoseal a soft, flexible mouthpiece that prevents mouth breathing and dry mouth during sleep.
Your results and comfort were much better on June compared to May 10 and the biggest difference was the use of EPR that reduced flow limitations. You need to increase minimum pressure to 7.0 or 8.0 so that your starting pressure is 7.0/4.0 or 8.0/5.0 (inhale/exhale) rather than 5.0/4.0. When using EPR, we need to add the EPR to minimum pressure to maintain an adequate exhale pressure. Since your prescribed minimum pressure is 5.0, that would require a minimum pressure of 8.0 with EPR 3. This will make your device more responsive, better meet your minimum pressure needs and continue to be effective in mitigating flow limits and hypopnea. Other than that, work on the mask leaks. You can read the Mask Primer wiki linked in my signature.

Thank you for your fast response!
I will change the settings to your recommentations and try it for a few nights.
What do you see from last night's data? Why do you think I don't get rested?

Thank you Sleeprider!
Do you think I should change tha max presure back to 20 (prescribed) instead of 14 that I have it now?
