Help with new settings
Hello,
My numbers have been good, almost always less than 1 AHI. But other than a couple of nights in the past 6 months, I wake once or twice a night and don't feel refreshed in the morning. So, after reading numerous posts here, I made a few changes:

My old settings were 8.6 EPR 0. With those settings in the past week (7 days), I totaled 1 OA, 6 Hypopneas, 3 Centrals and 7 RERAs.
Flow limit 95% was around 0.14
Flow limit high between .23 to .30

Wanting to decrease my RERAs and Flow Limit to see if that would help, last night I upped my settings to 9.4 EPR 3

I didn't sleep well, and had:
4 OA
0 Hypopneas
0 Centrals
1 RERA

I was surprised to see the big increase to 4 OAs in one night given that I raised my pressure. My flow limit numbers were nice and low 0.04 (95%) and 0.14 (max).

Perhaps my EPR of 3 dropped my exhale pressure too low and that caused the apneas?

Any thoughts and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Attached are screenshots showing the period around each of the OAs.

RE: Help with new settings
You went from an 8.6 inhale/exhale to a 9.4 inhale and 6.4 exhale. OAs occur during exhale. You need to adjust your settings, so you have a higher exhale pressure to keep your airway open.

I will say your numbers are very good and it is unlikely that your changes will make a world of difference. We can feel tired and not refreshed for many reasons your sleep apnoea is well treated check any medications you may be on or other reasons for the wakeup's
