High AHI, Extreme Fatigue, Cannot get CPAP or BiPap to work
Hello,

I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea 4 months ago 35 AHI. I was originally prescribed a CPAP and used the Airsense 11. With that no matter what pressure settings I tried or what additional features I enabled / disabled I could not get my AHI below 15 and was struggling with severe bloat.

I met with my doctor and she wanted to switch me over to a BiPap. I just received it 2 nights ago and am having similar issues. Have attached photos below. Unsure what to do and am at a loss. Any help would be very appreciated

RE: High AHI, Extreme Fatigue, Cannot get CPAP or BiPap to work
Hi exchanged!  -  Welcome

My initial thoughts are:
  • Turn off the Ramp feature - It is not doing you any favors
  • Set your Minimum pressure to 10 cm - Immediately put you at your therapy pressure
  • Set the Maximum to 12 cm - Put a limit to help prevent a runaway pressure
  • Set the Trigger option to High or Very High - This should help address the CAs.

I hope this may help.  Please keep us up to date.
