Hissing Noise on Inhalation
Hello again,
I am always impressed with the knowledge here, even tho I don't post often.
I have not been able to figure out how to get the SD card out, and downloaded Oscar, before dropping my laptop, and possibly fatally injuring it.
I have been doing reasonably well with my CPAP, until recently when I noticed it makes a hissing sound on my inhalation. I washed everything well and replaced the filter, to no avail.
What is my next step? I don't see any obvious cracks or holes in my tubing, tho I could try some trick with soap bubbles possibly. (Still thinking how that might work).
I can call my DME on Monday. tho they are crummy, like most.

To remove the SD card, I have always been in the habit of making sure the xPAP is off first. Open the SD card door on the top left on a ResMed, and push the edge of the SD in and it should click and pop out.

The hissing noise is probably due to a leak around the seals on your humidifier or side cover. I've found that a positive insert action is required to fully engage the seals in the CPAP. As far as the SD card removal; Press in on the card and it will release. You should either feel , hear a click, or both when inserting or removing the card.

Thank you, both!
