Humidifier plate not turning on for Dreamstation.

Humidifier plate not turning on for Dreamstation.
[attachment=31199][attachment=31199][attachment=31199]With the humidifier setting set to Fixed (which means constant On) and the heat setting set to max 5, the heating plate never turns on.  That's just flat out a problem with the humidifier, -Correct?

I have played with all of the other combinations of settings, ie, Adaptive, Heating Tube.

Taking it down to the basic, disabling all the other stuff (heating tube and Adaptive) and just telling the machine to turn the heating plate on when the  machine turns on and what temp to heat up to, should be rudimentary.  At this rudimentary state, I do not get any heat from the plate.

I just ordered a new humidifier thinking that's got to be the problem, but wanted to ask those more familiar with this machine if there's not something like a firmware upgrade that I am missing.  I have only been using this machine for 6 days and have tried every combination during those 6 days.

Fixed means heating plate constantly on, and max heat (5) means maximum, it's kind of simple, if the heating plate is not getting turned on with those rudimentary settings, that tells me the humidifier is bad.  Am I correct?

RE: Humidifier plate not turning on for Dreamstation.
Those settings are likely correct. It's been several years since I briefly used a DreamStation, but as the therapy was severely bad I don't really remember the humidifier settings. The positive thing on the DreamStation is the fact the humidifier is a separate unit.
