I am so tired. Please help

I am so tired. Please help
My AHI is consistently low but I am not feeling well-rested. It is so hard for me to wake up in the mornings-- I often sleep for another 90 min after my alarm clock goes off. I am consistently getting at least 9 hrs of sleep.
I have started mouth-taping recently with varying degrees of success. Ive been cutting a small slit in the middle of the mouth tape for safety reasons but I think I will try just a solid piece of tape tonight, as I suspect I am still getting mouth leaks.
Not sure if it's relevant but I cut out caffeine a month ago as it was contributing to anxiety.

Yes, your numbers are great, but I see a couple of things that should help. You have been on your machine long enough that you don't need ramp. Turn it off. Also, to find what pressure you need, I suggest you set your machine with a small range of pressure. 8 to 12 would be a good place to start.

Good luck at improving your therapy and comfort!  Smile

try to make the cpap work, but keep in mind that apnea is not the only thing that makes you tired.

In addition, I suggest experimenting with higher (2 or 3) EPR settings. They usually increase your comfort and make you feel more refreshed.

Thanks for your reply! May I ask why the range of pressure?
Also, when raising EPR, do I also need to raise my pressure levels?

Keep in mind that raising EPR could have the unintended consequence of increasing your central events.

Your CAs vary and are not high enough to worry about.  I still get some sometimes and ignore them.  EPR makes breathing more comfortable and lowers flow limits, a good thing to do.

Also, you are still using ramp.  You don't need it and should turn it off.
