My concern is the no answer on a smoking home. Is that a deal breaker or is there a way to clean it out, since the hours are so low, only 288.

I am the OP and I bought it, even though I could not be 100% sure it wasn't owned by some health provider who was renting it.

The OEM extras more than covered the whole price.

The home was smoke free, but appeared to be a cat rescue with nine cats in evidence. So, maybe toxoplasmosis risk?

I am thinking about running vinegar thru it, or maybe some of the nasty stuff that disinfects humidifiers.
