Is this normal? (obstructive apneas)
I never look at my sleep results because it doesn't really mean or change anything but recently i did and when i looked at the obstructive events chart i noticed that the events occur soon after each other, within seconds or minutes. I just grabbed a random date but i see this happens on most nights. Is this how it's suppose to look and just a 'normal' night with sleep apnea? I'm also still not sure why i sometimes have cheyne stokes breathing.

RE: Is this normal? (obstructive apneas)
No, that is not normal. Normal would be maybe an average of 1 to 2 events per hour of sleep. Resmed misused the term CSR. It is a close cousin to the more common pattern, Periodic Breathing. Whenever you see this event type, lean more to it being the periodic breathing. Your cluster of events would indicate that you are either sleeping on your back or chin tucking. . . or both.

RE: Is this normal? (obstructive apneas)
Thanks for the information. Like many people, i too have the most events when i sleep on my back. I always wake up on my right side but doesn't mean that i don't sleep on my back of course. There's not really much that i can do about it other than using a tennis ball
