Resmed have separate settings for pillows, nasal masks, full face etc. Whether they make a difference or not I don't really know.

I used a DreamWear with my S9. If I remember correctly, I used "nasal pillows" rather than nasal mask. My numbers were very good...
I stopped using that mask and went to a ResMed nasal mask. One of he reasons was that I became aware I was waking regularly and checking for leaks. My sleep quality wasn't very good. There are many people here with much more knowledge than I have;
