Kudos to those who worked on OSCAR

Kudos to those who worked on OSCAR
Probably time to say, "Great Job" to all who had a hand in the creation of OSCAR.  It is so much smoother in operation than the old SLEEPY HEAD.  Use it on W-10 and Linux Mint and it is lightning fast.

Thanks

Thank you

I'll add that between releases changes are made nearly every day. Our 2nd release will be coming out soon. Some major infrastructure changes have been made and we want to make sure everything is working prior to formally releasing the product.

RE: Kudos to those who worked on OSCAR
Hi Bonjour - Quick question. I've seen other posts from moderators here mentioning about the upcoming release, and in some cases referencing specifically addressing some issues with Dreamstations. Can you mention what issues they are? I'm just wondering what known issues are present with the current build, and how I should reflect on that when reviewing my reports. Very much looking forward to the new build! Thank you all !!!

Oh one more thing. When the new update is complete, will the existing version alert the user to an available update? Either way, will the update affect any existing records? Thx!

RE: Kudos to those who worked on OSCAR
The update will not lose any existing data. The data will be rebuilt internally because of changes to the loaders.
The existing versions will not alert the users of the update, though that is a feature that will be in releases beyond this coming one, and maybe in this coming one.

The current version of data, inherited from SleepyHead said that all data from alll CPAPs was the same so let's cram it all in the same shoebox. Guess what, all data is not the same. Thus PR modes and settings are not always displayed correctly, Advanced CPAP machines were poorly handled (had to fit it in that shoe box), much better in Beta-1

Regarding your use, use OSCAR and post your daily charts, they are more that good enough to help you through your therapy as evidenced by hundreds of users of AB CPAP talk, reddit, even Facebook and other forums throughout the internet.

One thing that makes OSCAR different is that we listen to the users, validate their concerns (replicate the issue), and fix it.

Not complete but here is a list for Beta 1

OMG, that is one heck of a Changelog!!! Can you say when this new version is slated for release? And, are you looking for any Dreamstation Auto (DSX500H11) Beta testers?

RE: Kudos to those who worked on OSCAR
Hi Team,
It has been a long time since I was last here. It was before the advent of Oscar I think. Have been travelling around Australia with my Devilbiss DV64, with the SD card in it, but just relying on the limited info on the machine's screen & should I ever need to prove compliance or gather data for a medical review I could use the very clunky Devilbiss software I have on a Windows laptop back home.

I have seen reference on the forum to Oscar & the DV64 being compatible, but not fully compatible. I think that was also some time ago?

Have these wrinkles been ironed out yet, or are OSCAR & the DV64 still not yet fully compatible? I will start using it if fully compatible, but continuing as I am is probably easiest if the pairing is not yet at a 'plug & play' point. We are still travelling & lack the resources & motivation to have to interpret workaround functionality.
