Löwenstein Prisma 30ST volume target
Hi,
I am looking at this machine, as it has volume target, which I assume will help to stabilize my breathing (UARS) and don't end up with CA's, due to fixed PS and variable EPAP on my Aircurve 10 VAUTO.
Can anybody tell me how, in real time, it calculates the amount of EPAP and PS needed to match set target volume?
I don't assume it's "breath by breath", so how quick will i react if target if 500ml and breaths start to drop to below that, without flow limitation or hypopneas can be seen on flowrate?
I have the 25S now, but it is too limited in custom settings.

If the name ST translates to a similar ResMed ST, then this is probably not your best choice. ST is a spontaneous timed device with backup breath rate for those with lung disease. Again if like the ResMed ST, it will be a very square wave pressure delivery and inhale will be rather abrupt on then off.
I don't know which of your 14 threads tells us you have bad CA to want this therapy device. You'll want to provide a chart. For general therapy, you'll want to stick with one of those or we're not going to have useful data to help.
