Leak rate tolerance

Leak rate tolerance
Hi everyone,
despite how technologies and communication tools have changed over time, It's so nice to find a working and active forum like this.
I kindly ask for your help to understand if I'm using my mask the right way. I’ve tried several masks and now I’m using a P30i. To be honest, last night was my first time using it, and I expected the leak rate to be almost zero but the attached graph shows some leaks.

From your experience, up to what level is the leak rate considered acceptable? In this case, it seems a bit too high to me, but the myAir app still gives the highest score. Am I wrong?

Thank you for your help!

RE: Leak rate tolerance
Unless the leaks are waking you up they are not high enough to worry about, as they don't affect your therapy.

Your Oscar chart needs a little work.  When you want to post a chart hit F12.  Generally, that provides what we need to see, including the left panel which contains a lot of information that will help us help you. Smile

RE: Leak rate tolerance
I suggest you set your pressure range to 8 to 12.  This is because your median pressure is over 8 and You need a little more headroom.

It would be good to turn EPR on full-time, set at 3.  This should make your breathing more comfortable and lower your flow limits.

It would also be good to set your ramp at 6 and shorten the time to 10 minutes.  If that seems too tough, leave the time the same.

Best wishes for improving your therapy and comfort!  Smile
