Low AHI Terrible Sleep. Hoping for a Solution.

Low AHI Terrible Sleep. Hoping for a Solution.
Hi everyone.

I am currently self titrating for 2.5 months using advice from this forum and reddit. Some of my posted oscar results have different numbers. I have most consistently used minimum 7 - 8, maximum 10 - 11, epr 3 with mostly bad results.
1.5 years ago I received a negative at home sleep study from the nhs in the uk. They did not tell me my numbers. Funnily that night i slept terribly, waking up gasping for air several times so I was extremely surprised when it came back negative. Since then I have been waiting for an in lab sleep study and I am currently still on the waiting list.
Because my sleep has been awful for years with all the typical symptoms like dreams of drowning\choking\night terrors and waking up gasping with immense daytime fatigue I decided to get a used Resmed Airsense 10 and self titrate. I initially used a p10 mask with mouth tape but would wake up with a terrible feeling of suffocation each night. I have congested nasal breathing, especially out of my right nostril, which I presume impacted this mask. I am now using an F20 with better results.
Current issues affecting me is my impacted nasal breathing, which I am trying my best to improve, and potential positional apnea, as i seem to wake up mostly on my back throughout the night even though I try and side sleep. I seem to have flow limitations in my flow rate which is making me suspect uars, especially with my low ahi. I currently feel terrible most mornings with even worse cognitive ability/brain fog than before my therapy.

Sorry if that is too much information. I am really nervous and scared at the minute and my life quality is decreasing each day it seems. Thanks for reading.

Some flow limitations.

Could it be that your dreams and night terrors are not a result of sleep apnea related issues? Have you explored alternative causes with your doctor?

Since starting treatment my night terrors have went away by about 80%. In the past when I would wake up from a terror it was clear to me that I hadn't been breathing probably with all the usual signs. Now if I wake up from a night terror which it's usually when I'm on my back.

Please post charts with zoomed in areas around CA incidents (like your ## 3,5 and 6 but including the purple lines and preceding regions). We need no see what is going on there.

If cpap therapy is helping, expect more vivid dreams since your REM sleep may be less fragmented.
Please post Oscar charts.

Your charts look great.  I'm sorry you are feeling so poorly.  Stay with your 8 starting pressure.  That's a good place for you.  Maybe you are one of the people who takes a really long time to start feeling good from your therapy.  I'm praying that you will feel better every night until your therapy and comfort are right where they need to be.
