MANDITORY LOGIN IS REQUIRED for now

We've had an increasing number of BOT and/or AI "visits" to Apnea Board over the last couple of days... over 60,000 visitors, which is bogging down our server.


As an interim solution, I'm forcing users to log into their forum accounts in order to see and participate in the forums.  All visitors will see is the login screen.

This will  hopefully cut-down on the server load.  This is only a temporary measure to bring down the load, and we will resume normal operations as soon as we're able.

We reserve the right to do this on occasion for short periods of time in order to keep the server running smoothly.

We'll keep an eye on the AI & BOT traffic and when it slows down, I will then "open up" the Main Forum to be viewable for all visitors.  All other forums will remain log-in only, however visitors will be able to "see" some forums, but won't be able to see or read the threads & posts within that forum (until they create their own forum account and log in).

We may switch back-and-forth between a total lock-down (login required) and a partial opening (only the Main Forum open to visitors).

In any case, when you create an account (register here) and log in, you will be able to access all the forums.

Currently, the Main Forum is the only one where threads & posts are viewable to visitors (those who don't log in).

All other forums are viewable for those who registered a forum account and are logged in.

This strategy appears to have worked to quell the huge drain on our server... for now.
