Are there other liners thinner than Pad A cheek? I have found Pad A cheek lasts the longest, but I recently ran into a roadblock with breathing. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Mask liner question ! Do you use one?
I currently use a liner by Pad a Cheek for my Airfit 40 mask and it has been effective until a few weeks ago. Lately, it has been hard to breathe through the material as it creates a thicker barrier between the silicon and my face. Any suggestions on dealing with this? I have tried cutting more of a hole around the nose openings yet I still find breathing is harder than not using it. When I don't use a liner, I get itching from the silicon .

RE: Mask liner question ! Do you use one?
I have found some thinner mask liners on Amazon. They make some now for most masks (they probably have some for your particular mask).
Or, if not, it may be beneficial to shop for a different material that is thinner that you can cut yourself and either make an entirely new liner or adapt your current pad a cheek somehow. I have used very small pieces of silk (thin material) in the past for a similar mask purpose.

Thank you for the reply. I will try the silk. Did you buy in fabric store or off amazon?

I just found it in my house. I tried several different materials for the comfortable feel on my face as well as trying to stop leaks. I liked those little thin glasses cleaner cloths as well (I used to stick them in my mask when I woke up with a mask leak to plug up the leak).
If you get material from a store, you can feel it and preview it before you buy. It you go Amazon, etc. you have to go by the pictures and specs and reviews only (you can't physically touch or wear it etc.)
