Meesage re Needing to change tubing
My Resmed air curve 11 ASV is giving me a message that my tubing needs to be changed and I should contact my provider. This is the third tube I’ve used in the three months I’ve had this machine. (I got a similar message after I had used the first tube for less than a month.) I bought one between the first one and the third one because I knew it wasn’t time for the provider to give me a new one yet.
I’m wondering if this is a known issue or if there’s a way I could test to see if there’s something else wrong? Of course I will call the supplier, but I’m wondering if anyone has heard of this before with this machine?
I’m also curious about what information the machine reads as “time for a new tube?”
Thanks
Midge
RE: Meesage re Needing to change tubing
I'd do a close-up inspection of the tubing and see if it appears to be okay. I have an AirSense 10 AutoSet that I got back in July of 2018.
No messages from my machine and I'm currently on my 2nd hose. I do though, happen to have a "sufficient" stock of them on hand, thanks to my DME Provider.

Are you using the myAir app, where you can set personalized reminders, such as those for cleaning and inspections?

Unless your tube is leaking or no longer heating, there is no need to change tubes at all, except to provide the seller with more money.
