Mold Odor in Machine
Two weeks ago I attended a five day summer camp NW of Houston. It was very hot there and even worse, very humid. So humid that I could detect the faint odor of mold. I ran the AC at 67°F, but the mold was already present in the short-pile carpeted hotel room.
After I got home I disassembled and cleaned the internal components of my Airsense 10, except for the internal fan blades of the motor, which I don't know how to safely do. I've also washed the mask, hose and water tub, but I still smell the mold.
I appreciate any helpful suggestions to safely sterilize my machine and get rid of this health hazard. Thank you very much.

Ozium great product for eliminating mold and mildew odors, however it is not a mold remover or fungicide designed to kill and remove mold growth. If you decide to use it, follow the directions and air out your machine thoroughly before use. For mold, I use Control III which should be used with extreme caution. It is a go-to cleaner used in sleep labs and hospitals. It must be diluted before use.

Make sure to remove and clean the hose interface. Its the thing the hose attaches to in the back of the machine and is fairly easy to remove (see Youtube). I've found mold in this part on more than one machine, logical since its wet almost full time. Once you remove it you will find there are several nooks and crannies that aren't easy to clean, but some time with Q tips and dish soap & peroxide will remove it. No one ever talks about cleaning this part but its definitely the most likely place to collect mold that's not the water tub.
