Moving from a Dreamstation Bipap to Resmed Aircurve 10 Vauto

Like many of you have a Dream Station (Auto-bipap) - and I recently got a Resmed Air Curve 10 Vauto
I would like to duplicate my settings as closely as possible - but there are a few settings that the Dreamstation has that are not on the Resmed
Namely the BiFlex and Flex settings (the flex settings make it easier to exhale by temporarily lowering the pressure on an exhale)

here are my Dreamstation (Auto-Bipap) settings:
Ipap max : 19
Epap Min : 9
Ps min : 3
Ps max : 4
Flex - BiFlex
Flex : 3

Here are the Resmed AirCurve 10 Vauto settings (As I have them currently set)
Mode : Vauto
Max Ipap : 19
Min Epap : 7
Ps : 4

I really like the flex settings that make it easier to exhale on the Dreamstation.
I am trying to duplicate this on the Resmed with the lower Epap setting

could someone make any recommendations if I should change any of the settings 
to more closely approximate what I have on the Dreamstation.

also .. I am not quite sure I understand the role of PS  (Pressure support)
the instructions say to adjust it for patient comfort.
for an easier exhale .. should I raise it or lower the number?

It would help to look at a daily details chart from Oscar to help guide you. In general, a greater pressure support gives the feeling of easier exhale, regardless of the pressure settings.

I haven't used the Resmed yet, not until I get the settings figured out.

The ResMed the min + ps is the inhale pressure 
Exhale is the min pressure

Max is the maximum the machine will go to stop events. 

The only other thing is the trigger - set to high it helps with centrals. You can go to extra high if need be.

Moving to the Resmed, let's try these settings. Your chart did not have any OA, so we will start with a lower EPAP min, but push the PS to 4.0 to deal with hypopnea. We may reduce this if centrals are persistent as we see in your Dreamstation chart:

Mode: Vauto
EPAP min 8.0
PS 4.0
Max IPAP 15.0
Trigger Sensitivity HIGH
Cycle Sensitivity Medium
Ti Min 0.3
Ti Max 2.8

Give it a go and if I got something wrong, we will pick up the pieces tomorrow.

Looking for any more recommendations or suggestions.
let me explain my 1st night with the resmed.

Last night went fairly well, but i had to make a few changes.
it felt uncomfortable to exhale at a starting pressure of 8 - like it took too much effort
(I am used to using an epap pressure of 9 on the dreamstation (which is really 6 with the biflex flex-3 option turned on)

so I turned the Epap Min down to 7 
and increased the pressure support to 5
with the Max pressure set to 19 just to make sure I wasn't hitting a pressure limit.

breathing felt natural with the other settings.
I am posting the resmed data below.

here is a synopsis of the night
3am - went to bed, a bit anxious about the new machine
3:45am - took an ambien 
4:00am asleep
7:15am bathroom
7:30am asleep 
10:20am awake 
11:00am up and out of bed.

What is your trigger sensitivity?
Try setting it to high. That could help with your centrals
Most of your OA is likely caused by chin tucking but not enough here to worry about.
