Here is a new whole night and a cluster of CAs.  Not sure why they come together like that.  also I think the leak rate is better??

How does the higher pressure support feel? I don’t see a lot of difference in the chart results.

RE: Newbe First time using BiPAP Auto mode
I had a better night sleep last night, wondering about the cluster of CAs  and leak rate.  Also, when I look at other posts my pressure seems different from most with all of the spikes and THREE lines on the graph - any ideas about that?

RE: Newbe First time using BiPAP Auto mode
The data for pressure from the Dreamstation is significantly different from what you get from Resmed. This was explained by Sawinglogz in your other thread http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...#pid355737

Quote:On the PRS1 BiPAP machines, the pressure measurement channel appears to be the 2-minute average pressure applied to the mask, which puts it somewhere between the commanded EPAP and IPAP pressure (the EPAP Set and IPAP Set channels). Since inspiratory time (Ti) is generally shorter than expiratory time (Te), the average is usually closer to EPAP than IPAP.

RE: Newbe First time using BiPAP Auto mode
Thank you for the answers. I have ordered a VAUTO, I hope it will be here next week.  It will not have any setting so I would really appreciate help with settings when I receive it.

RE: Newbe First time using BiPAP Auto mode
Your world is about to change for the better. We will be glad to help with settings.

Mode: Vauto
EPAP min: 9.0
IPAP max 20.0
PS: 4.0

We will adjust from there and it won't take long.
