N20 and Airsense 10 humidity

N20 and Airsense 10 humidity
I've switched to the N20 and previously had a P10.  Ever since changing, my humidity tank runs empty before the morning.  The P10 only used half the tank.

Is it normal for a nasal mask to use so much water?

How do I hate the N20 less?

Leaks can increase water consumption. OSCAR can tell you if you have more leaks with the N20.

Did you switch from the P10 because of mouth leaks?  Did you try mouth tape?  I've used it for more than four years with no problems at all.  If you try it, get good quality 2-inch wide tape and cut it to about 5 inches long.  Cover Roll stretch tape and Hypafix are good tapes.  I prefer kinesiology tape as it is stretchier and conforms better to facial contours.

Best wishes for solving your mask problem! Smile

That is interesting. I used a P10 for years and used perhaps a half tank per night, on average, in the winter.

I recently switched to a ResMed F40, and my leaks are literally down to 0% at the 95% level, every night. But I end up with about 1/8-1/4" of water in the tank. Every night, without fail. Has not run dry yet, thankfully.

I'm wondering why I'm now using more water though leaks have effectively been completely eliminated. Not sure why a full face would use more water.
