Nasal pillow pain inside my nose

Nasal pillow pain inside my nose
Hello - Only 3 wks into CPAP - stomach sleeper. Have yet to sleep thru the night =/

Evora full face moves around too much.

Trying out F&P pillows and love them for the seal and flow - taping my mouth.

Pressure set at 12 - 10 feels a bit light in terms of flow

EPR = 3

No ramp

Waking up after a 2-3 hours with some real internal nose pain on each inhalation.

Humidity set to 3.

I feel like maybe more humidity or less pressure - or both.

Any guesses as to cause?

Thanks

Definitely try more humidity. It would also help if you use a nasal rinse a few times a week.
I use a nasal gel right before masking up. The one I use is called Ayr Nasal Gel and it does help stop any irritation.

Post an OSCAR chart if you need help with adjusting pressure.

Just inside the nose, but don't use too much. The Ayr gel has a nice cooling feeling and keeps the inside of your nose from drying out. I'm sure there are similar products on the market.

I first started with petroleum jelly (Vaseline tm), but later discovered that chap stick worked better and was easier to use. It's hard to find products without horrid perfume, but I finally found some.
