RE: Near death experience last night.
Been the cough syrup and med route, but I am at the tail end of this. It will hang on for another week or so then disappear. Do this every year about this time, but it is not allergies (already been tested).

Big Guy your title--Wow!
Mouth breathing is no fun.
I have 22,000 hours on my ResMed S9E now. When I bought it used, it had a humidifier. It didn't have a heated hose.
I figured that heating room temperature air before it reached my nose made sense. Bought a heated hose, and I use it at the highest setting. Frankly i don't feel the air is very warm; but I think it's more comfortable.
Next step will be a hose blanket. I haven't done that yet.
I hope this helps.
I read Moorjani's book, "Dying to Be Me" about her experience. I'm really glad I did. She had a near death experience. Describes it well.
