RE: Need help improving my AHI, notably reducing CAs
I watched the video again and I am at a loss for the large increase of your flow limitations.

That Phillips premium chin strap might pull back and make your apnea worse, it doesn't pull straight up.
[attachment=77823] Are you a side sleeper? You said that you knew that you slept, did you mean you slept well? Do you use a soft cervical collar?

My advice would be to turn softpap off and lower your pressures.
It's important to let us know how you feel during the day after each night whose data you post. I wish I knew why you have so many arousals.

> Are you a side sleeper?
No I sleep on my back. I don't move much during the night. I can't sleep on my side more than a few minutes. > You said that you knew that you slept, did you mean you slept well? Sorry, English is not my first language so we may have a different understanding. "Sleep well" to me implies feeling good the next day. I didn't feel good the next day, was very tired. What I wanted to say more with "I slept" was that I wasn't feeling like I was awake. I had my "unconscious" sleep, so it may not have been deep sleep, maybe it was another phase, but 0% seems very unlikely. There is no EEG here so this is really just based on the breathing patterns, I'm not sure how much I can trust it. > Do you use a soft cervical collar? I don't. I tried once and it was really uncomfortable so I removed it after a few hours. It didn't seem to change my results at that time. Yesterday, I wanted to test one more time soft-pap 2, but this time with no chin strap at all so it's out of the equation. I don't actually need it, it only slightly improve my chipmunk cheeks issue. https://sleephq.com/public/e9bceb48-a651...465a28bbb0 AHI: 17 CA: 7.9/h H: 9.0/h FL events: 71/h RERA: 24.6/h symptoms: Very tired, brain fog I think soft-pap doesn't work well for me. I'm not sure why. It seems to mess up with my breathing. |
