Need some help analysing last nights data.
Hi Guys

So last night was a funny night , I didn't go to sleep till late but I woke up three times in the night , so this evening I thought I would check data on the OSCAR beta I am nonw attaching the screen shots from last night.

Ther first screen shot is a view of the whole nights data
The second zooms in on a long apnea episode just before one of the times I woke up .

My worry is that it was an awful long time as you can see from the data my tidal volume falls nearly to zero and the episode is nearly seven minutes long with only minimal flow. The machine was maxed out at its 30cmH2O pressure limit also.

the other times I woke up show similar data patterns when zoomed in.

What do others make of it or am I looking at it all wrong?

Cheers Danny

RE: Need some help analysing last nights data.
Welcome Danny,

With a median PS of over 13 I have to ask about your history.  Why such a high PS?  What are you being treated for, what are your cardiac and respiratory medical conditions?

I do suggest getting and using an oximeter.
On your charts MASK pressure is important. it will show us more about what is happening.

I suggest posting 2 charts
You have Beta 2, a new feature is to do the following

View/ResSet Graphics/Standard  -> F12 to Screenprint
then
View/Reset Graphics/Advanced  -> F12 to Screenprint

That will give us all the important charts.  Post both screenprints.

Hi Bonjour

So I have been diagnosed with a rare genetic mitochondrial disease which is of neuromuscular origin and I am slowly deteriorating in a similar fashion to motor neurone disease, I have severe diaphragmatic weakness, sleep related hypoventilation and hypercapnic respiratory failure , I also have a complicated cardiac history , total heart block treated by pacemaker . I also have a simultaneous diagnosis of Severe OSA.

I recently had an admission to my specialist neuromuscular unit where I had TOSCA skleep studies and from the result of that my pressures were increased from 26cmH20 to 30 by my respiratory consultant.

Here are the screen shots you requested

Danny
