DS1 or DS2?

I just recently received a Dreamstation 2 Advanced after choosing the "autoset device" option when asked by Philips how I wanted to handle my recall replacement. I'm currently using it in apap mode with a narrow band of upper and lower titration limits (7-12) sandwiched around my historical (23 years) average of about 8.5. I'm still getting 2-3 AHI each night, but my greater question is- Does the Dreamstation 2 function identically to the Dreamstation 1 with regard to algorithms?

I went from a couple of years with DS1, to a year with a AS-10, then onto the DS2 replacement.
For the same settings, I see that I score a tad higher on the DS2, plus I feel a tad worse.
Im planning on bumping the pressure up 0.5 or 1.0 cm at some point to see what affect it has.
